Our Mission
TCAP is an established vocational training provider for individuals with animal related skills, and offers a route to professional qualification for students from a wide range of backgrounds.
We provide vocational training for students and professionals eager to build their skills in animal massage, animal rehabilitation and animal physiotherapy.
We believe education should be open to all. Our pathways to professional practice run from Level 4 equivalent through to Level 6 equivalent, and are designed to be undertaken part-time.
Full-time study isn’t for everyone, so by providing a flexible, vocational alternative, many more students can realise long-held ambitions in the field of animal massage and physiotherapy.
Animal Physiotherapy and associated courses
The College of Animal Physiotherapy offers UK Rural Skills Accredited training courses for students from Level 4 to Level 6 equivalent.
All courses involve a combination of remote, self-paced study, with hands-on practical days at regional training centres or our Oxfordshire headquarters.
Level 6 Equivalent Diploma
Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy
We offer full training in Animal Physiotherapy with our Diploma. A series of online short courses and continuing professional development are coming soon.
Level 4 & 5 Equivalent Courses
Equine Sports Massage
The courses cover functional anatomy, palpation skills, application of massage to the equine, significant management issues, professional skills for the therapist and practical tuition.
Level 4 & 5 Equivalent Courses
Canine Therapeutic Massage
The courses provide the foundation and understanding required to enable the successful graduate to practise within the canine industry as a professional canine masseuse.
